CCNA Routing & Switching
You must pass the required exams to earn the associate-level CCNA R&S certificate. You have two options: you can choose to take either the one- or two-tiered exam.
The 200-125 CCNA R&S is the one-exam option. It is a combination exam. It covers a wider variety of domains and can be quite lengthy. The exam contains 60 to 70 questions and takes approximately 90 minutes. The two-exam option, however, is comprised of the 100-101 and 200-101 ICND2 exams. Both exams are still a 90-minute exam. However, the ICND1 & ICND2 only consist of 45-55 questions and 55-65 questions, each.
You may find it easier to take two exams if you are an entry-level individual. You will be able to concentrate on the areas covered in each exam. This will allow you to focus on the exam content and not get overwhelmed. If you feel that you can pass the exam in one go, you have the option of taking the 200-125 CCNA R&S exam. Your decision is up to you. Make sure you are well-prepared for the associate-level R&S certification.
Regardless of your choice, CCNA R&S certification is a test of your ability to configure, install, operate, and troubleshoot various networks. You don’t need to have any prior knowledge to pass the exam.
CCNP Routing & Switching
To be able to climb to a higher level of certification, you will need to pass three exams. The ROUTE exam (300-101) is the first. It’s also known as the Implementing Cisco IP exam.
